Visual Arts Teacher
Welcome to my Visual Art portfolio. Here you’ll find a selection of my artworks. Explore my Art Collections to learn more about what I have done.
From my early years, I was a creative girl with a passion for drawing and painting. I was equally drawn to painting and calligraphy, often decorating the end of each page of my primary school homework with colorful artwork.
In 1993, I entered Fine Art High School, where I honed my visual arts skills. The following year, I achieved third place nationwide and second place in my region (Isfahan province) in an oil painting competition. After I got my Diploma in Visual Arts, I became a teacher of painting and calligraphy classes at a primary school. Working with children was enjoyable and I learned a lot about colors and composition while working with them.
In 1997, I began my undergraduate studies in painting at Tehran Azad University. During this period, I participated in numerous exhibitions, exploring various painting techniques and styles like realism, cubism, impressionism, and expressionism. My focus shifted to mastering the foundations of colors and composition. I extended my teaching experience to three public schools and four private schools in Isfahan, where my students consistently achieved success in their exhibitions. Their enthusiasm fueled my dedication.
However, my artistic journey took a significant turn during my master's program abroad at UITM University in Malaysia, where I specialized in printmaking. I delved into various printmaking techniques such as Etching, Lino, Mono print, and Batik. I discovered the profound influence of Persian motifs on renowned modern artists like Kandinsky, Matisse, and Klimt. This experience marked a transformative phase in my artistic career.

Art Consultant
In my role as an art gallery consultant and sales manager (2011 – 2015), I provided valuable guidance to our clients when it came to acquiring art pieces. My primary focus was to assist buyers in discovering high-quality artworks that aligned with their budget and their unique aesthetic preferences. Furthermore, I played a crucial role in aiding clients in selecting the perfect paintings to adorn their particular spaces, enhancing their decorative appeal.
A significant aspect of my role was to elucidate the backgrounds and stories behind different artists. This facet was of utmost importance in the sales process, as it served as a compelling influence in helping individuals make informed decisions regarding their art acquisitions.

Art Collections
Collection 1: Mirror 2000-2001
This collection is part of my final bachelor project. After several experimental projects aimed at understanding space and materials, I was able to visually express my own world on canvas. Similar to cubism, spaces represent multiple perspectives, and characters blend into expressive color palettes. My goal was to use abstract visual language to create a unique project that emphasizes both art knowledge and personal expression. Subject matters provide a space for visual elements, allowing them to play a role in connecting with a deeper level of inner thoughts and emotions.
Collection 2: Experiment 1998-2000
This project focused on the experimental exploration of major contemporary art movements. It involved creating multiple spaces and times to represent dynamic compositions. The color palette was limited to the contrast between warm and cold colors, aiding the viewer in understanding the formalistic relationships of elements in each artwork. I believe this practice greatly helped me in grasping abstraction in cubism, which is one of the fundamental roots of contemporary art.
Collection 3: Collage 1998-2000
The collage technique has been widely utilized by various visual artists and designers both in the past and today. Understanding the potential of visual expression across different materials is highly beneficial for artists as it allows them to transcend their traditional artistic boundaries and reconsider how everyday visuals can engage with the human mind. This collection was created by emphasizing the interplay of negative and positive space and the visual representation of subjective matters in dynamic relation to one another.
Collection 4: Boteh/Paisley 2007-2009
This collection, related to my master’s research, focuses on the Iranian traditional motif of 'Boteh/Paisley.' In this research, I delved into the study of this unique and significant motif of Iran, known as Boteh/Paisley. The distinctive shape of Paisley represents cypress trees, symbolizing youth, endurance, and immortality. It is a widely recognized symbol in West Asia, adorning numerous decorative artifacts and craft products. Personally, I aimed to bridge the gap between Persian traditional elements and modern art, creating artworks infused with vibrant colors and decorative elements. These works craft a mystical yet expressive space that evokes the realm of dreams. I firmly believe that Boteh/Paisley holds immense potential in the creative world of art and design, urging visual artists and designers to reconsider its significance.
Collection 5: Sketches
I'm sharing a selection of my drawings from various time periods and techniques. These samples encompass quick expressive sketches, surreal spaces, landscapes, and highly decorative drawings. The focus in these pieces mainly lies in the study of different mediums and the composition of basic visual elements.
Collection 6: Random Artworks
In this collection, I present a selection of artwork samples from various time periods. The predominant themes in these works revolve around my fascination with color expression and a departure from structured composition. The use of flowing forms and rough brush strokes conveys a sense of tension, reflecting my highly emotional state during those specific time periods.
